Our Process
1. Consultation
The first step in our process is to gather all the important details of your project to ensure we capture all the design elements you’re hoping to achieve. At this initial consultation, we will meet to discuss your ideal design, the steps of the installation process, and offer low maintenance, sustainable and cost-effective solutions. Finally, we spend time discussing budget and timeline.
If your project is relatively simple, we will assemble a project proposal and email it typically within a week for your review. If your project is more complex, we’ll provide pricing for design services.
2. Conceptual Design
The next step is to translate your ideas into a conceptual design to help give you an idea of the proposed project, including functionality and overall aesthetic. During the design-phase, well discuss ideas and finalize all the details of your project. We will offer specific solutions based on your property, preferences, and budget.
Once we receive your feedback, we use that conceptual design and prepare a break down of the associated project costs.
If you already have a design, we can work with your designer and plans to complete the installation.
3. Plan Refinement
Plan refinement is the third phase of the process, meant to turn conceptual designs into a buildable project. At this stage we complete a final construction contract which includes final drawings, and detailed sections/line items making it easy to understand the cost. We also include a comprehensive project schedule, including the fine details of the project including: the precise plant list, materials to be used, construction methods, details about grading or outdoor drainage work needed, location of irrigation, and landscape lighting.
4. Construction
Once the contract is approved, we schedule your installation and set a time to start construction! Installations are scheduled depending on your availability and ours, and we’ll work with you to schedule your project on a timeline that works for you.
ADG Landscapes is licensed and has many years of experience with high quality installations. Our team has extensive knowledge and training in planting, sustainable landscape practices, and water saving irrigation systems.
5. Project Completion
Once the project has been completed per the design and proposal specifications, we typically schedule a walk through to take a look at the details together and make sure you are happy. We can also talk through best maintenance practices and water instructions so you feel comfortable taking care of your new landscape.
If you are happy, we will consider the project completed and the final invoice will be sent. All products and plants have specific warranties. If any aspect of your project doesn’t meet your expectations, we will return and fix it. We will also periodically visit the site to adjust irrigation, lighting, and check on the plants.
6. Optional: Maintenance
